Description of position:

  Refrigeration Technician with a CCQ- companion card with customer service skills.

The work consists of performing maintenance, repairs and installations of air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration and heating systems.

Required skills:

  Essential :
 CCQ – companion card
Essential : Course on building site security from the CSST compulsory
Asset : Bilingualism, spoken and written
Important : Must have initiative, be self-sufficient, be responsible and very organised.

Position: Technical Assistant Refrigeration Department
Geographic zone: Laval
Type of position: Permanent, 40 hours/week
Hourly rate: According to experience, to be discussed.
Starting date: Immediately
Mobility: Occasionally (mileage paid)

Description of position:

 

Under the supervision of the Refrigeration Project Manager, the candidate will have the following principal tasks:

  • Research specialized materials, as well as pricing, following the recommendations of the Refrigeration Technicians noted on the Work Orders;
  • Ordering materials required by Refrigeration Technicians according to ongoing maintenance and repair work;
  • Setting up a reference library;
  • Preparing files for quotations of Refrigeration projects in new construction, as well as for service contracts;
  • Examining plans to determine the quantity of materials needed and transferring this information onto the quote estimation sheet;
  • Preparing shop drawings;
  • Make revisions/modifications to drawings following the Refrigeration Technicians’ recommendations;
  • Preparing Maintenance Manuals for Refrigeration projects.

Required skills:

 
Essential:

must possess college diploma in Building Construction (mécanique du bâtiment);
Important: bilingual at an intermediary level, spoken and written (primarily French);
Essential:

must possess an excellent comprehension of customer service;
Important: must have initiative, be self-sufficient and be responsible in the performance of his(her) tasks;
Important: capable of working in a team, likes meeting challenges;
Essential: knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet;
Asset: knowledge of Filemaker and MSProject softwares.
